WINNERS!!!!!

At the beginning of this term, our pupils took part in the Picker Pals World National Art Competition. The brief was to create a piece inspired by the Picker Pals theme that encourages others to care for and protect our environment. This provided a fantastic opportunity for our learners to get creative while exploring the importance of recycling and environmental stewardship.

We are delighted to share that Chestnut Hill School had not one, but two winning entries this year. Dosbarth Menai achieved first place in the SEN category with their thoughtful project highlighting the litter found during their local litter-picking activities, earning £100 worth of art supplies for the school. Meanwhile, Dosbarth Tryfan’s imaginative underwater-themed junk modelling was selected as the overall winner of the entire competition, securing an exciting workshop visit from the Picker Pals team.
