Visit from Amberquays

Earlier this week, Chestnut Hill School was delighted to welcome Amberquays, a local domiciliary care company supporting people across Flintshire to live independently in their own homes.

Beryl and Natascha joined us to talk about the many ways care can make a difference, whether that’s helping someone who feels isolated get out for a cuppa or providing more hands‑on support with daily routines like washing, dressing, and home care.

They also opened our students’ eyes to the wide range of career opportunities in the care sector.

We’re excited that Amberquays hope to return in June, this time bringing along one of their Apprentices to share real‑life, day‑to‑day experiences of working in care with our students at Chestnut Hill School.
