Stairs to Stories Library Opening

The team at Chestnut Hill School, Holywell, welcomed Mayor Matthew Sprake to our library- ‘Stairs to Stories’- Cutting the Ribbon Opening Ceremony for our school library on 18th March 2026.

Reading is about making meaning, and as well as a selection of stories, the school has started to develop careers readiness with students with a selection of books together with Flint library to provide our students with information to develop their ideas, interests and possible careers opportunities throughout their school journey.

One of our students also the Deputy Chair of the School Council was involved in providing a tour of the school to the Mayor who was enthusiastic to support the school’s progress and initiatives in pupil invovlement.
