Learning to use tools safely in outdoor education is about so much more than the final product. These experiences help pupils develop confidence, resilience, problem-solving skills and independence, while also encouraging focus, patience and teamwork. For many of our young people, hands-on learning in the outdoors can be a powerful way to build self-confidence and real-life skills in a supportive environment. It’s been a pleasure watching pupils realise that they actually can use tools safely in sessions this week😁
