Visit to Uniper Power Station

What an incredible day at Uniper Power Station in Connah’s Quay! ⚡️

Our pupils were amazed to learn how electricity is generated, take part in hands‑on workshop activities, and even suit up in full protective clothing before heading out on a tour of the site to see everything in action.

A huge thank you to Elizabeth for sharing her inspiring journey from apprentice to engineer; a brilliant role model for our young people. And a big thank you to Helen and Rob for hosting us and showing how the production of electricity works hand‑in‑hand with the balance of nature.
